We're delighted to announce that Rasmus Bjurstr\u00f6m will be joining this August to bolster our creative and strategic offering.\u00a0Bjurstr\u00f6m joins us from OMD Sweden where he was Creative Director; presiding over brands like PepsiCo, Orkla, Disney, Carlsberg, Asics and McDonalds.<\/p>\n

This year his #BikeMyTights campaign for Pierre Robert bagged a host of awards - a Gold at the Festival of Media Awards for \u2018Best Use of Mobile\u2019; a \u2018Promo & Activation\u2019 Golden Hammer Award; and a Silver \u2018Campaign of The Year\u2019 Stockholm Media Week Award.<\/p>\n
Prior to this Bjurstr\u00f6m was the CDO for OMG working with both OMD and PHD across all teams and clients. He's also held the position of global partnership director at Hyper Island. Some of his clients were JWT, Svensson, Dentsu, D&AD and IKEA. He continues to steer Hyper Island\u2019s Digital Business programme committee.<\/p>\n
Rasmus will report to our CEO Ann Yst\u00e9n and sit on the agency management team. \u00a0He will work with all our clients, lead the agency\u2019s strategy team and evolve our media offering across all consumer touch-points. Together we will develop new strategic tools and processes together with the existing creative and technical teams.<\/p>\n
Rasmus comments: \u201cI collaborated with Perfect Fools during my time at Hyper Island and felt the team was bold yet understands how to deliver solutions for business problems using technology. I love non-linear thinking and when there\u2019s friction, there is dynamics, and with that comes greats ideas, services or products.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them that I\u2019m a creative strategist - kre-teg in Swedish. I combine that beautiful madness, which is the Hyper Island in me, with the more operational and strategic side which was enhanced by my time at OMD working with media and communications.\u201d<\/p>\n
